Matt is one of the first NPCs that you encounter. He is an African American student at Fallcreek University. He wears a green cap, a white jersey, and jeans. He has a tattoo on his left shoulder.
After the mutations have begun, Professor Richard James was dissecting one of the dead monsters to study its insides. Corey identified the creature as Matt by his tattoo.
Matt's role in the game is not too big as well, for these are the only two appearances that he has made.
